9. “The Wizard of Oz” – Price tag $ 612,000

If you have watched The Wizard of Oz as a little child, you must have, at some point or the other, wished for Dorothy’s magic red shoes. Currently, there are only three pairs of Judy Garland’s famed ruby slippers from the 1940s classic which still exist One of them was auctioned at Christies to a private bidder for the gigantic sum of $612,000. Another was supposed to be sold at the Icons of Hollywood auction, but failed, owing to the whopping starting bid of two million dollars. The third pair of these sequined red beauties is currently on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of History. So if you can’t have them, you can at least have a look.
